Wholesale Terms & Conditions
Effective May 23, 2026. These terms apply to all wholesale accounts unless superseded by a signed Volume or Founding agreement.
1. Eligibility
Wholesale accounts are available to registered businesses only. To qualify for tax-exempt pricing, you must provide a valid resale certificate for your state. We may ask for updated documentation at any time to keep your account in good standing.
2. Pricing and Payment
All wholesale orders are paid at checkout by credit card unless we have approved your account for Net 15 invoicing. Net 15 terms are earned, not automatic — we extend them after three or more months of clean payment history.
If a Net 15 invoice is not paid within 15 days, we reserve the right to suspend your account and revert future orders to Pay Now.
3. Wholesale Tiers
- Starter — Month-to-month, no contract required. A good way to get started and see how our coffee works for your business.
- Volume — 6-month agreement with approximately 28% off retail pricing. For businesses ready to commit to a consistent ordering cadence.
- Founding — 12-month agreement with approximately 35% off retail pricing. Our deepest discount, reserved for long-term partners.
Volume and Founding tiers require a signed agreement. Contact us at hello@proviscoffee.com to discuss which tier fits.
4. Order Minimum
All wholesale orders require a minimum of $150 per order. Orders below this threshold cannot be processed.
5. Shipping and Lead Times
Every order is roasted and shipped from our roastery in North Kansas City, Missouri. Shipping costs are passed through at carrier rates — you pay what the carrier charges, nothing more.
We offer free local delivery within a 25-mile radius of our roastery at 2914 N Buchanan Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116.
Lead times depend on order size and current production schedule. We will communicate any expected delays before they affect your delivery.
6. Returns and Damages
Because coffee is a perishable product, we cannot accept returns on opened bags. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at hello@proviscoffee.com with photos of the damage. Once verified, we will ship a replacement at no charge.
7. Account Termination
For Starter accounts, either party may end the relationship with 30 days written notice. For Volume and Founding accounts, termination terms are governed by your signed agreement.
8. Price Changes
Wholesale pricing for Starter accounts may change with 30 days written notice. If you are on a Volume or Founding agreement, your pricing is locked for the duration of your commitment term.
9. Confidentiality
Wholesale pricing is confidential. You agree not to share your wholesale prices publicly, including on your website, social media, or with other businesses. This helps us maintain fair pricing across all of our partners.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your wholesale account is limited to the amount you have paid us in the trailing 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of Missouri.
