Answers,plainly.
Ordering, shipping, subscriptions, and how we think about coffee. If your question isn't here, the email address is at the bottom.
Ordering & Shipping
When will my order ship?
We roast every order from green coffee, so most orders ship within 1–2 business days of when you place them. Subscription orders ship the day they're roasted. Either way, you'll get a tracking number the moment the box leaves us.
Is shipping free?
Free over $50 in the continental US. Subscription orders always ship free, regardless of size.
How should I store my coffee at home?
Keep the original bag — the one-way valve and zip seal are doing real work. Store it at room temperature (65–75°F is ideal) in a dark cupboard or pantry away from heat, light, and moisture. Skip the freezer and the fridge; both introduce humidity that breaks down the oils. Best within four weeks of the roast date printed on the back.
What if something's wrong with my order?
If a bag arrives damaged, the wrong coffee shows up, or anything else goes sideways — email us within 7 days and we'll make it right. Because every bag is roasted to order, we can't take returns on opened coffee.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
Subscriptions
How does the subscription work?
Pick how many bags you want per month — 1, 2, 3, or 4. Save up to 25% depending on quantity. Subscriptions ship free. It's roaster's choice — we pull what's drinking best from our current lineup, roast it fresh, and ship it to you. Pause or cancel from your account in two clicks.
Can I pick the coffee instead of letting you choose?
Yes. By default we pick — that's the point of roaster's choice. But if you want to lock to a single coffee or rotate through specific ones, log in and set it. Most subscribers do a mix.
Is there a commitment?
None. Cancel from your account, cancel by email, cancel because you're traveling for a month — we'd rather have you stay because the coffee earns it.
Our Coffee
What does “roasted to order” actually mean?
It means there's no warehouse of bags sitting on a shelf. When you check out, your coffee starts as green beans. We roast it, cool it, bag it, and ship it — usually within a day of roasting.
Do you offer decaf?
Yes. Our Decaf EA uses ethyl acetate derived from fermented sugarcane to remove the caffeine while keeping the flavor intact. It comes from Risaralda Department in Colombia's Eje Cafetero — Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia varieties grown between 1,200 and 1,900 masl.
Whole bean or pre-ground?
Whole bean if you can — it stays fresh longer and grinding right before you brew is the single biggest cup quality upgrade you can make at home. If you don't have a grinder, we offer drip, pour-over, French press, espresso, and AeroPress grinds.
